INMerge Ventures Makes Its First Investment in a Georgian Startup
INMerge Ventures has announced an investment in CARGON, a logistics technology startup founded in Georgia.
According to Startup.az, the investment is aimed at supporting the development of digital logistics solutions along the Middle Corridor and strengthening interregional trade.
CARGON is a digital freight startup operating along the Middle Corridor. The startup connects shippers and carriers in a fully digital environment and aims to increase efficiency and transparency in the traditionally fragmented logistics market through digital freight forwarding and integrated financial solutions. CARGON is currently in a growth phase across Central Asia, the Caucasus, Türkiye, and Europe.
One of the key reasons behind INMerge Ventures’ investment in CARGON is the rapidly increasing strategic importance of the Middle Corridor. Against the backdrop of expanding trade volumes along this route, the fund considers the growing demand for technology-driven logistics solutions and CARGON’s scalable business model in regional markets to be highly promising.
It is worth noting that the INMerge Venture Capital Fund was established in 2024 within the framework of the INMerge Innovation Summit organized by PASHA Holding. The fund’s investment strategy focuses on startups from the Caucasus and Central Asia, Central and Eastern Asia, as well as the Middle East and North Africa.
The fund’s founders include PASHA Innovations, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Investment Company, and the Trendyol Group. In addition to financial backing, INMerge Ventures provides its portfolio startups with strategic mentorship, business development support, and access to international networks.
In a statement, the CARGON startup noted that the investment from INMerge Ventures marks an important milestone in its growth strategy and supports its goal of building the largest digital freight platform along the Middle Corridor.
