Architect Startup Secures $35 Million in Investment
Architect has raised $35 million to scale the operations of its newly launched AX exchange. The investment round was led by Miami International Holdings and Tioga Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Galaxy Ventures, and ARK Invest.
Startup.az reports that AX, developed by Chicago-based Architect, operates under an official license in Bermuda. The platform enables large funds and professional financial institutions to trade perpetual futures contracts across currencies, equities, indices, and various metals. With this latest round, the startup has raised more than $50 million in total funding to date.
Currently, AX services are available exclusively to professional investors, while individual traders can join a waiting list. By supporting trading in both traditional currencies and stablecoins, the platform aims to bridge traditional financial markets with the digital assets ecosystem. According to experts, AX’s future success will largely depend on the confidence of major financial institutions in the exchange’s regulatory framework and technical infrastructure.
