“SMEDA Has Supported the Sale of Products and Services of 350 Entrepreneurs”
In 2025, 350 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) benefited from sales expansion support mechanisms provided by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMEDA/KOBİA) under the Ministry of Economy.
According to Startup.az, citing KOBİA, 85 MSMEs were provided with free participation in 11 exhibitions held in Azerbaijan and abroad, including 8 domestic and 3 international exhibitions. In addition, three “SMB Fest” exhibition-sales fairs were organized to promote and support the sales of products and services produced by micro and small entrepreneurs. The fairs, held in Goygol, Shusha, and Goychay, brought together 220 entrepreneurs, who showcased and sold their products and services.
Within the framework of the support mechanism aimed at facilitating the sale of products produced by micro and small businesses in large retail chains, products from 45 MSMEs were sold through seven designated sales points.
KOBİA noted that MSMEs can apply to the agency to benefit from state support mechanisms designed to expand their sales opportunities.
It was also emphasized that support for MSME participation in exhibitions and fairs, as well as access to retail chains, will continue throughout the year.
