Skolkovo identifies the best startups in Baku
The best startups of Azerbaijan are identified within the “Open Innovations Startup Tour” co-organized for the first time in Azerbaijan by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) and Skolkovo Foundation of the Russian Federation in Baku on April 17-18, 2017.
According to Xeberler.az, biomedicine, information technologies and industry trends were essential for the projects to participate in the competition.
“Lia” project of the Spinal Tech team composed of Arif Movsumzade, Alexey Jafarov and Fidan Rustamova, “Kvotter” project of Orkhan Ahmadov and Joshqun Karimov and “Healthy Living Platform” project of Shahlar Pashayev became the winners of the “Open Innovations Startup Tour”.
In addition to the award, the winners of the competition will be eligible to participate in the “Startup Village” start-up conference to be organized in Skolkovo Technopark for technology entrepreneurs.
The main objective of the “Open Innovations Startup Tour” is to support the realization of perspective and innovative projects in hi-tech field.
Representatives of the Skolkovo Technopark, local and international startups, officials of businesses have attended this two-day event.
