AzTU Students’ Startup Showcased at “Caspian Agro 2026” Exhibition
Azerbaijan Technical University participated in the Caspian Agro 2026 and InterFood Azerbaijan exhibitions with an innovative project.
Startup.az reports that the “SoilMate” smart agriculture robot, developed by Special Equipment and Technology Faculty student Ismayil Baba and Energy Faculty student Ibrahim Jafarov, attracted significant interest from exhibition participants.
The “SoilMate” smart agriculture robot was designed as an innovative digital assistant for farmers. The robot autonomously measures soil pH, moisture, and salinity levels in real time and transfers the collected data to a digital dashboard.
The main goal of the project is to ensure more efficient use of resources in agriculture, contribute to increased productivity, and support the implementation of data-driven and autonomous management systems in the sector.
With its compact design and advanced functionality, the robot offers a practical technological solution for both small and medium-sized farms.
