Azerbaijan and Austria Discuss Investment Opportunities
Issues such as increasing trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Austria, expanding mutual investment opportunities, and strengthening industrial cooperation were discussed.
According to the Ministry of Economy, as reported by Startup.az, the discussions took place during a meeting between First Deputy Minister Elnur Aliyev and Severin Gruber, Secretary General of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism of Austria.
During the meeting, the current state and future prospects of bilateral economic relations between the two countries were reviewed, along with opportunities for implementing joint projects. The sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation with Austrian companies in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as in industry, agriculture, energy—including renewable energy—and humanitarian sectors.
It was noted that more efficient use of existing potential and the promotion of direct contacts between business communities could further deepen economic relations.
