“An Info Session Dedicated to ‘Startup Days’ Has Been Organized”
An info session dedicated to “Startup Days” was organized at the Incubation Center of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
The main goal of the event was to familiarize students with the upcoming startup stages, guide them in the process of shaping innovative ideas, and prepare them for participation in the startup ecosystem.
According to Startup.az, the event was opened with a keynote address by Osman Gündüz, Advisor to the Rector of AzTU on Digital Affairs. He provided detailed information about the “Startup Days” project, which will be implemented with the support of the Startup Azerbaijan platform. Highlighting the opportunities created by the startup ecosystem—particularly for innovation- and technology-oriented projects—he encouraged students to actively participate and work on creative and innovative ideas.
Subsequently, Azad Musayev, Coordinator of the AzTU Incubation Center, delivered a presentation introducing participants to the startup roadmap. His talk covered all stages of the startup journey, from idea generation and team building to project evaluation, development of initial technical solutions, and prototyping. He also discussed potential challenges participants may face at each stage, as well as the mentorship and incubation support to be provided.
At the end of the info session, participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their suggestions, and exchange views on future startup activities. The event was met with strong interest from students and was regarded as an important platform contributing to the development of startup culture at the university.
