Degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels are offered in Azerbaijani, English, Russian, and Turkish.

Azerbaijan State University of Economics is one of the higher education institutions that supports startups. On April 29, 2014, the Innovative Business Incubator was established at the university. One of its main goals is to develop young managers and entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan and to provide startups with educational, methodological, material-technical, psychological, and financial support in building their businesses.

UNEC is a participant in the “Skills for the Future” project implemented by the Innovation Center under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The goal of the “Skills for the Future” project is to enhance human resource potential in the field of innovation and to support innovation activities in education. Another key objective is to assist students in developing their innovative ideas and guide them toward discoveries and inventions that play an important role in the country’s technological development.

The project consists of two components: a mentoring program for training university teachers as mentors, and incubation programs for nurturing students as startups with the participation of these mentors.
