ADB delegation explores SME support model at Baku SME House
A delegation from the Asian Development Bank, including Director General for Central and West Asia Leah Gutierrez and Country Director Sunniya Durrani-Camal, has visited the Baku SME House as part of their trip to Azerbaijan.
Representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency and the Baku SME House provided detailed information about the center’s one-stop-shop model for business services, as well as the “G2B” (government-to-business) and “B2B” (business-to-business) services offered to entrepreneurs.
The delegation was also briefed on how services are delivered to business entities by both public and private institutions, and the role of SME Houses in facilitating this process. Views were exchanged on improving service delivery and enhancing support for entrepreneurs.
As part of the visit, discussions were held between KOBIA and ADB representatives on expanding cooperation in the SME sector and implementing joint projects aimed at supporting entrepreneurship development.
