SMBDA: Innovation and Startup Development Remain Key Priorities
In recent years, the development of innovation and the startup ecosystem has become one of Azerbaijan’s key strategic priorities.
According to Startup.az, these remarks were made by Orkhan Mammadov during the “5th Islamic Development Bank Group Startup and Innovation Competition – 2026,” organized within the framework of the 51st Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group.

As a result, interest in entrepreneurship among young people is growing, the number of innovative projects is increasing, and Azerbaijani startups are gaining broader access to international markets.
