IRIA Announces Open Tender Aimed at Ecosystem Development
New programs aimed at developing Azerbaijan’s innovation and startup ecosystem are being launched. The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA), operating under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has announced an open tender for the implementation of the “Innovation Program to Support Startup Development.”
According to Startup.az, the project is designed to promote innovative ideas, support the growth of startups, and further strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial environment.
Under the tender, four ideathons, four startup schools, and two incubation programs are planned to be organized throughout the year. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in innovation, entrepreneurship, product development, marketing, finance, and investment, while also benefiting from the capabilities of open-source platforms such as GitHub.
It is worth noting that this is the largest and most comprehensive tender announced by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency following its recent restructuring.
Applications for the tender are being accepted through the State Procurement Unified Internet Portal (E-Tender).
