The number of services provided to entrepreneurs at the Baku SME House has been announced.
SME Houses have been operating in Baku, Khachmaz, and Yevlakh, and this year the network was expanded with the launch of a new SME House in Ganja.
According to Startup.az, this was stated by Yusif Baghirov, Director of the Baku SME House, during an event on informing citizens about self-employment promotion and additional employment measures.
He noted that SME Houses are modern centers established to serve small and medium-sized businesses, operating under a “one-stop shop” principle. This allows entrepreneurs to access various public and private services in one place quickly and conveniently.
Baghirov emphasized that the Baku SME House is the largest among them. It began operations in 2023 to simplify entrepreneurial activities, reduce time loss, and improve business efficiency.
Currently, more than 300 services are provided by 35 government institutions and over 100 services by 14 private entities at the Baku SME House. These services include business registration, licensing and permits, business plan development, access to concessional financing, as well as tax, customs, utilities, banking, and insurance services.
Additionally, the facility offers meeting rooms, training and mediation spaces, and a conference hall, enabling entrepreneurs to participate in training sessions, awareness programs, and business consultations to further develop their skills and build successful enterprises.
