Azerbaijani students studying in the United States have developed an AI-powered startup
Azerbaijani students studying in Chicago — İbrahim Cümşüdlü, Əli Şükürov and Ayhan Şahmarov — have developed an AI-powered fashion technology startup called “FitFindAI”.
According to Startup.az, the project has been valued at 1.6 million USD by the gener8tor Accelerator program in the United States, highlighting its strong potential as a promising tech startup. The program provides selected startups with 12 weeks of support, including business strategy development, mentorship, investor meetings, and initial funding opportunities.
“FitFindAI” enables users to search for clothing items using both text input and image uploads. The application identifies relevant products from various fashion brands based on the user’s location.
Currently, the project is optimized for the U.S. market and operates within the country. The team plans to expand the application globally in the near future, including launching it in Azerbaijan.
According to the founders, the main goal of the project is to simplify the shopping process, save users time, and introduce a new approach to the fashion industry. In the future, the platform is expected to evolve into a more comprehensive e-commerce solution.
The team is currently in talks with investors to accelerate development and strengthen its position in international markets.
It should be noted that 19-year-old İbrahim Cümşüdlü and Ayhan Şahmarov are students at University of Illinois Chicago, while Əli Şükürov studies at National Louis University.
